Hampton sits on the New Hampshire coast between North Hampton and Hampton Falls. Route 101, the Exeter-Hampton Expressway, connects Interstate 95 and Route 1 (Lafayette Road) to Hampton Beach, where it ends at Ocean Boulevard (Route 1A), which runs right along the beaches. I-95 leads north to Portland, Maine, and south to Boston.
Hampton has a large share of second homes. In the 2010 Census, 2,221 of the town's 9,921 housing units, about 22%, were held for seasonal or recreational use, most of them near the beach. Buyers here often weigh a primary home in town against a beach condo or a second home, and the loan options differ for each, so it helps to know how you'll use the property before you shop.

Hampton Beach along Ocean Boulevard has the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom and the boardwalk crowds every summer. Plenty of homes near the beach are second homes, so we'll weigh a home in town against a beach condo.
Tom also works across Rockingham County and nearby towns, including Stratham, Exeter, Portsmouth, North Hampton and Seabrook.
